A magic carpet ride through the topsy-turvy universe in which we live.

Just to clarify.

I have just finished reading a story from cbc.ca. It's about the rights of transexuals.

Transsexual had right to choose female officer for strip search

Transsexuals who are strip-searched by police should be able to choose whether it's done by a male or female officer, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario ruled Wednesday.
The ruling stems from a complaint by Rosalyn Forrester, a transsexual, born as a man, who hadn't yet undergone a sex-change operation.
Forrester was strip-searched in 1999 by male police officers in Peel Region just west of Toronto. Police arrested Forrester after her common-law spouse accused her of harassment and breaching a restraining order.
Forrester was charged, but those charges were later dropped.
The Peel Regional Police policy had been that an officer of the same gender as the suspect should be used to carry out strip-searches.
In this case though, Forrester requested to be searched by a female officer.
Police decided a male officer would do the search because Forrester was still officially a man. Forrester had not yet gone through sex-reassignment surgery to become a woman.
The tribunal found that Forrester has been "humiliated" by the strip searches, but that the police did not intentionally violate her rights.
The police have now agreed they will allow a person to self-identify themselves as a transsexual.
The tribunal said officers cannot "opt out" of strip-searching transsexuals unless they believe they have significant rights of their own to protect.
The tribunal also ordered the police to produce a training video on transsexuality for its force.

After I read this story I began to wonder what the difference is between a transexual and a hermaphrodite. I searched the internet for the answers.

Most of the results that came up were for porn sites. Eventually, after five minutes of reading site descriptions, I got my answer.

A transexual, or "tranny," is someone who changes genders. That could mean a man becomes a women, like in our news story, or a woman becomes a man, like Haley Wickenheiser.

A hermaphrodite, or "hermy," on the other hand is someone who has both male and female reproductive organs. For the sake of good taste, I won't publish a photo of a hermy, however they can be found with ease on the internet. Simply search for [chicks+with+dicks]. An example of a hermy is Queen Elizabeth II.

But then I got to thinking: what is a transvestite?

One google search later, I found my answer.

This is a transvestite:

Now you know.

Actually the term transexual refers to a person who's core or brain is of one gender and their body reflects that of the other. That person will then work to bring their body inline with their brain, there by correcting as best as possible the body to correspond to their brain or their gender. As such they actually never were the gender assigned them, at birth. Unfortunately since this is an invisible condition, like some intersex conditions, others only learn of the mistaken assignment later.

BTW they never change their gender, else one would need to then change one's brain. Science isn't that far yet as was the Dr Frankenstein.

The term tranny is considered an offensive term, much like the one's used to describe people who are black, people who are Hispanic, people who are Japanese, people who are Chinese, people who have a disability, and so on.

As for Hailey, she's more woman then you clearly are male.

A transvestite used to refer to straight men who found wearing woman's clothing erotic, sort of a fetish.

Hermaphrodite refers to a person who is born with a complete sex of sexual organs of male and female sex.The cases are rare, instead there are many different cases of intersex conditions, the term used to describe variations be it chromosomal or other wise that some people in society experience. Some not even knowing until later in life, some at birth depending on what type of intersex condition they have.

5 mins of looking only gives you what you want, but like studying for a test for 5 mins. one tends to be wrong more often then not.

just saying
